For that is my raison d’ętre (that and a good bottle of Claret).
From as early as I can remember, even before Mrs Emma Peel first fell into the evil clutches of some mad doctor, or was tied to the tracks of a model railway village (remember that one?) I have been consumed by fantasies of beautiful maidens who need to be rescued. In my fantasies they very nearly, but never quite actually, get rescued. And it stops right there. The ultimate cliff-hanger is the ultimate fantasy!
This explains why I have become bored with open forums that are now totally swamped by postings of ‘new-wave’ BDSM material. Some say that this ‘JP’ fellow (have I got his name right? The founder of Insex?) is the hero of a new age, but I say he has destroyed the very essence of what makes bondage exciting. In one word: FANTASY! No matter how bad the acting is in, say, a Harmony or a CloseUp production, a beautiful woman in bondage and a half-decent scenario will always fuel my imagination. JP and his successors of the new genre are so explicit that you have nothing left to think about (although I have found one exception: Lorelei getting roasted on a spit in ‘Turkeys’ is fantastic for all the reasons I have already mentioned).
So have I annoyed enough people with my first post? You shouldn’t be, because I know that there are as many different fantasies as there are members in this forum. ‘Everyone to their own’ is my motto and I will never criticise anyone just for being different to me. But Deksels asked me to introduce myself and that is what I have done. This is me, Professor Proteus, and these are the reasons I am here.
